(With Naked Alien in studio) Wrote a long time ago after a lady said, "I know you. Your cheesy line guy." I was trying to be funny and wound up being guilty as charged. Sometimes cheesy lines can create cute moments. Other times, not so much.

Sensations

(Field Recorder overdubs) Experimenting with a 3 piece band approach. Trying to put to words what goes through your head when experiencing something amazing. Jumping out of a plane. Cracking the throttle on a motorcycle. Etc... Adrenaline rush sort of stuff.

(Acoustic - field recorder) So many sensations in lifetime and wow that last one was wonderful. Experience junky stuff is more than adrenaline rush moments. This is a song about taking a moment to pull some of them in.

(Acoustic - field recorder) I got an illness one time that held me back. It made me thing that sometimes when we push ourselves life sometimes steps in and forces you to stop. Possibly it's life way of forcing us to balance things. This song came out of that idea.

Songs about inanimate objects

(Acoustically - field recorder) About my motorcycle and how it makes me feel. Piston pumping torque monster love on the highway. Nothing like the sensation of cracking the throttle while flying up a hill. Its like your Superman defying gravity or something cool like that.

(Field recorder) There aren't that many songs about Indian Motorcycles so I thought I would write one. This is about how mine makes me feel.

Losing Something and Coping

(With Naked Alien in studio) Trust no-one, admit nothing, remain bitter. Thank Bruce for the philosophy in life. I just told the story.

(With a field recorder doing overdubs. Not perfect but it was more about an idea.) Wrote one month after our house got burglarized by some losers. An emotional rollercoaster ride. After giving it a month I sat down and came up with this story.

I've lost too many friends along the way over something I don't understand. Thoughts are thoughts they don't predict the future. Let them come, and then let them go.

2020 was basically the news and social media constantly streaming hate. 2021 did not start out any better. This song wrote itself in a few hours. Its about hope.

My Covid 19 song inspired by 2020

Co-wrote with Greg Gast. The original recording had issues so I threw this together. It's a story that came about after watching an old cover band one time on New Year's eve and coming to the realization that time changes everything.

Country Songs

(With Naked Alien live with field recorder) Recorded during one of our practices in Randy's basement. It's an old song originally written one night after I had a less than stellar reception at a country bar in Florida. It was partially because I didn't know any Garth Brooks(Friends in low places)..ect.. songs and I basically didn't belong there as I didn't fit the country scene groove. To make a long story short, it didn't go over well. I went home and vented with the creation of a mean song. The next day I looked at it from another perspective and realized I was at fault for not being observant enough to know my audience. I changed it to this which is a lot more fun.

Pathologic

(Field Recorder Overdubs) A novelty song. Going for a joke in regards to Facebook "likes".

(Field Recorder Overdubs) The Rat Race. Driving with Addison prompted a conversation where she told me that I need to write something more upbeat. She likes it better when I do those types of songs. Taking her advice, I sat down this weekend and came up with this. It’s a concept that basically wrote itself so I think she was right. A perception of a moment. Painting on silence. Typically, “Rat Race” songs talk about how negative it is. I’m choosing to take a different approach and basically play the role of a confused guy that just happens to be caught up in it. Acoustic, electric, bass, drums, and vocals.
